Who WriteWise is for

Students applying to college, from Class 9 to a master's or MBA, and their parents. WriteWise is not for children under 13.

What we ask for, and why

That is everything the website asks for today.

What we never do

• Sell your data, or share it with advertisers.
• Show your essays or your CV to a college, a school or anyone outside WriteWise without your permission.
• Use a student's full name on this website. Students in our examples are shown by their initials, such as A.R.
• Use your essays or your CV to train AI models. To confirmagainst the AI providers' terms before the tools open.

If you are under 18

• Tell a parent or guardian before you sign up.
• Signing up only puts your name on our list. Before you upload a CV, talk to Mara or pay for anything, we will ask a parent or guardian to confirm.
• India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires a parent's verifiable consent before a company processes the personal data of anyone under 18, once its rules apply. We will follow it.
• In the United States, WriteWise is not directed at children under 13.

To confirmhow a parent confirms (for example, a link sent to the parent's email), and whether the sign-up form should ask for a parent's email.

For parents

A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete their child's data, or to withdraw consent. Write to writewise.vk@gmail.com with the student's name and email. We may ask you to show that you are their parent or guardian before we act.

Student work on this website

We show a student's essay, roadmap or story on this website only with the student's written permission, and a parent's if the student is under 18. We shorten names to initials. To confirmthat written permission is on file for the essays and roadmaps on the site now.

Deleting your data

Email writewise.vk@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete it. We will delete it and tell you when it is done.
